BETWEEN
LOURDES COLLEGE
AND
MONROE COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Monroe County Community College and Lourdes College recognize the need for and importance of facilitating the transfer of students from Monroe County Community College to Lourdes College as they pursue their educational goals. In an effort to facilitate the transfer process and to promote the closer coordination of academic courses and programs and degrees offered by our institutions, Monroe County Community College and Lourdes College do hereby enter into the following articulation agreement. Further, we commit to work collaboratively to foster, extend, and enhance transfer opportunities for recipients of the Monroe Community College Associate of Science Degree-Registered Nurse Program seeking, to earn the Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Lourdes College.

Transfer students are subject to the catalog in force at Lourdes College at the time of their enrollment into the nursing program at Monroe County Community College.  Previous articulation agreements remain in effect for the student who entered Monroe County Community College prior to Fall 1997. Once admitted to Lourdes College, the transfer students are subject to the same regulations governing applicability of catalog requirements as all other students. To ensure that the transition to Lourdes College is as smooth as possible, Monroe County Community College and Lourdes College agree to participate in regular reviews of program requirements and appropriate advising procedures.

It is recognized that individual graduates of Monroe County Community College must meet all of the admission, progression, and graduation requirements of Lourdes College and its Department of Nursing.

This Articulation agreement will remain in effect until such time as there is a change in either program or the articulation agreement is deemed unsatisfactory to either party.
