Transfer Degree with the University of Michigan - Dearborn

Presenting an equation that's the solution for your future.
MCCC + UofM-D = BSCIS

Monroe County Community College has teamed up with the University of Michigan-Dearborn (UofM-D) to give students an opportunity to earn a "Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science" degree.

It's a simple equation. Just complete the first two years of courses at MCCC and the second two years at the UofM-D.

It's a great opportunity for MCCC students. You can attend classes close to home and maybe save a little time and money in the process. The end result is, the degree you receive is exactly the same as the degree received by any student attending UofM-D for all four years.

The Details

The University of Michigan-Dearborn offers two options within the BS CIS degree.

  1. Computer Science Option
  2. Information Systems Option
The first two years of classes are virtually identical for each option. The Computer Science option includes an additional math class where the Information Systems option includes an accounting class. The real difference in the two options is in the second two years of classes.

The transfer agreement spells out all of the details.
