for more opportunity to register for courses of choice.

What is the College placement test?

The test is a short assessment of a
student's basic skills in English, reading and math. Placement
test scores indicate academic areas where you are strong, areas where
you might need help, and which courses might be a starting point for
your educational career.

When can I take the placement test?

Call the Admissions office for the assessment

Fall - April through start

Winter - November through start of classes (January)

When are tuition and fees due?

Students may apply throughout the year
for financial aid through the Financial Aid Office. Because some programs
have deadlines, it is recommended to apply as early as possible.

I'm not sure of my major but I still
want to get started. Is this possible?

Yes. A student does not need to have
a major when entering MCCC. A student may take general education
courses the first semester and work on career exploration activities
during the semester. Make an appointment with the Admissions and
Guidance Office at (734) 384-4104 for career counseling.

What do I do if I have special needs?

The Learning Assistance Lab (LAL) is
the place to go for special assistance. A special assistance counselor
will meet with you and discuss your needs. To make an appointment
