Alumni Association Membership
Purpose: |
The
Monroe County Community College Alumni Association is organized
to work collaboratively with the MCCC Board of Trustees, staff,
students, and the community in providing support to the mission
and educational objectives of Monroe County Community College. |
Membership: |
Annual
Membership in the Monroe County Community College Alumni
Association shall be open to past and present students who have
earned 24 credit hours or more, or past and present students who
have graduated from Monroe County Community College, past and
present Monroe County Community College full-time staff, and past
and present Monroe County Community College Board of Trustees
members. Benefits include:
- Subscription
to Avant-Garde, the Alumni Association quarterly newsletter
- 15
percent discount at MCCC Bookstore (excluding textbooks and
computer software)
- Library
privileges at MCCC's Learning Resources Center
- Access
to the College Career Center and Employment Services
- Eligibility
for membership in the Education Plus Credit Union
- Eligibility
to join the MCCC Fitness Center (additional $50 fee per year)
- Invitations
to special events/activities
- Receive
an Alumni Association sticker
- Receive
an MCCC Alumni Association Membership Card
Dues:
$15 per year ($5 of which will be donated to the Alumni Scholarship
Fund)
Lifetime
Membership open to all who qualify for the annual membership
but want to receive the same great benefits in perpetuity for
a one-time fee of $50 ($25 of which will be donated to the Alumni
Scholarship Fund).
Affiliate
Membership is open to all who have earned 1-23 credit
hours at MCCC and are not a graduate. Benefits include:
- Subscription
to Avant-Garde, the Alumni Association quarterly newsletter
- A
one-time coupon for 15 percent off at MCCC Bookstore (excluding
textbooks and computer software)
- Access
to the College Career Center and Employment Services
- Eligibility
for membership in the Education Plus Credit Union
- Invitations
to special events/activities
- Receive
an Alumni Association sticker
- Receive
an MCCC Alumni Association Membership Card
Dues:
$10 per year ($5 of which will be donated to the Alumni Scholarship
Fund)
Friends
Membership is available to all who have not taken a
credit course at MCCC but are interested in keeping in touch
with what is going on at Monroe County Community College.
Benefits include:
- A
one-time coupon for 10 percent off at the MCCC Bookstore (excluding
textbooks and computer software)
- Eligibility
for membership in the Education Plus Credit Union
- Access
to the College Career Center and Employment Services
Dues:
An annual donation of $5 to the Alumni Scholarship Fund.
