Help Desk Services: Help desk services are available for students in distance learning classes or traditional face-to-face classes utilizing Blackboard course delivery system. Contact the Distance Education Assistant at 734-384-4328 or by email at jyarger@monroeccc.edu. If you are having difficulties with Blackboard or Student e-mail usernames or passwords, please visit the Support tab on the Blackboard system. Library: Library databases are available to current MCCC students off-campus. To
link to library databases from off-campus you must have a valid library
card. A librarian is available for reference assistance through email
at askalibrarian@monroeccc.edu. |

Learning
Assistance Lab (Tutoring Services): Tutoring assistance
is available in nearly every MCCC subject area. Student tutors and Faculty
Specialists work with students both individually and in small study groups
on main campus. Appointments may be made in person in the LAL (C-218)
or by telephone at 734-384-4167 or 1-877-Yes-MCCC. |

Writing
Center: Any student currently enrolled at MCCC may submit
his or her writing via email to the Writing Center for tutoring. While
students are encouraged to work through all stages of the writing process
from prewriting to a final draft, the Writing Center only provides electronic
tutoring for an actual draft of a paper. More information can be found
on the Writing Center web page. |

Regional
Computer Technology Center for Test Proctoring: A test proctor
may be needed for some exams in distance learning courses. To arrange
for a test proctor, contact the RCTC lab at 734-384-4144. |

Advising:
Academic advising is a process facilitated by trained MCCC counselors
and full-time faculty to assist students with educational and career planning
