Pave the way to the best seats in the house!
- Take a Seat
Now you have the opportunity to experience cultural presentations of all kinds from the best seat in the house - the one you provide through your targeted contribution to The Foundation at MCCC. Two donation levels are available and each seat will bear the inscription requested by the donor. Orchestra seats are available for $1000 and Theater Seats are available for $500.
- Buy a Brick
Walkways to the new La-Z-Boy Center will incorporate customized bricks that honor people and events we all hold dear. When you purchase a brick paver, you'll provide another element of the facility's overall design and recognize someone special. Two sizes of brick installations are available — a 4" X 8" brick ($100) and an 8" X 8" brick ($400). Each brick will carry the inscription requested by the donor.

GIFTS
MADE THROUGH YOUR WILL
A bequest in your will naming The Foundation at Monroe County Community College as a recipient of a portion of your estate may produce sizable savings to your heirs in income and estate taxes. You may designate a specific amount, such as $25,000 to endow a scholarship, or a percentage of your adjusted gross estate. Other options are to establish a trust with income retained for a beneficiary you name or to give a gift of income to The Foundation at Monroe County Community College with assets passing to your heirs after a specified time.

For a policy that is paid up, your charitable contribution is the cash value of the policy. Premiums paid to The Foundation at Monroe County Community College on a gifted policy also qualify for deductions.
REAL ESTATE & PERSONAL PROPERTY
Tangible personal property such as art, books, or equipment related to Monroe County Community College's exempt purposes are fully tax deductible at fair market value. Real estate can provide for an immediate gift, fund a trust, or even arrange for a lifetime occupancy after making a gift.
LEAVE A LEGACY©
Leave A Legacy® is the public awareness campaign of the National Committee on Planned Giving. Leave A Legacy® programs across the country are educating the public about the benefits of leaving bequests to charity in wills and estate plans. LIFE INCOME GIFT
WITH AN INCOME RETAINED
A life income gift allows a portion or the income from the investment to be paid back to you and your spouse (or other beneficiaries) regularly for a term of years or for the rest of your lives. After term or lifetime commitments to beneficiaries are satisfied, the principal becomes available for a program you may designate. Within certain limitations, you may decide what your annual payment will be, based on your need and the size of the asset you donate. The immediate income tax deduction is based on the size of the annual payment and the number and ages of beneficiaries.
GIFT
WITH AN INCOME TO THE FOUNDATION

Assets are placed in trust for a period of years, with a specified amount of income and estate tax benefits, and with a specified amount of income being paid to The Foundation at MCCC each year to enrich the College programs of your choice. Income earned through the trust and paid to The Foundation at MCCC is excluded from taxable income and produces a charitable deduction. YOUR NEXT STEP
