Chapter Fourteen
Integrity in Practices and Relationships

Strengths

  • The College is accomplishing its mission.
  • The College makes a concerted, good-faith effort to follow all policies and procedures openly and honestly.
  • The College maintains ethical practices in all its relationships, internally and externally.
  • Any errors noted in any written materials are quickly corrected with careful attention to ensuring that these errors do not result in unfair or inappropriate treatment.
  • MCCC strives to improve its programs, services, and processes. Processes are in place to identify and alleviate problems or concerns.
  • MCCC supports and values community and professional service to its faculty and staff.

Challenges

  • Keeping information and documents up-to-date is difficult. Placing documents such as the Policies and Procedures Manual on-line will help reduce this problem. Procedures for coordinating this effort still need to be developed.
  • Every document originated by the College should contain the last date of review or the last date of revision.
