ALTERNATIVE/RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR
Classroom instruction in Alternative/Renewable Energy Technology in the Industrial Technology Division of the College. The division is exploring an emphasis on Alternative and Renewable Energy as part of its new program initiative. The candidate will be responsible for developing and teaching courses in the areas of solar, wind and/or geothermal energy systems, fuel cells or bio-fuels and other sustainable energy at an associate degree level. Baccalaureate Degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent is required; Master’s Degree in the above fields preferred. Teaching experience in an educational institution preferred. Minimum of two years of industrial/professional employment experience in a relevant setting is required. Background in Electromechanical systems, or Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Technology preferred. Work experience and/or knowledge of operation of Nuclear Power plants a plus.
