DEVELOPER

Under the direction of the Dean of the Business Division, full-time position with teaching responsibilities in web programming languages and technologies including PHP, NET, JavaScript, JQuery, HTMLS, CSS, MySQL, SQL Server, Linux, MS Access, XNA, iOS, and Java. Abilities in a number of these areas will be considered. Required qualifications include Master’s degree in an appropriate computing related discipline. Minimum two years of recent successful related occupational experience. Ability to teach programming in a PC and Mac environment, as well as, web based technologies such as HTML, Dreamweaver and MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server database concepts. DIRECTOR , CLINICAL EDUCATION RESPIRATORY THERAPY PROGRAM

Full-time faculty position with teaching responsibilities in clinical education coordination and instruction in classroom and laboratory settings. Coordinate the clinical experience of the respiratory therapy students including scheduling, student orientation, hospital visitation and document control. Perform computer-related tasks associated with clinical document control including tabulation of data, report generation, compilation of student evaluation of clinical instructors and other tasks as needed. Coordinate and conduct meetings with the clinical faculty and orient them to the respiratory therapy program documents and expectations. Minimum qualifications include Bachelor of Science degree and RRT credential. Five years clinical experience and two years experience teaching in classroom or clinical respiratory care required. Eligible for a Michigan respiratory care practitioner license. Base salary $52,024, negotiable based on education and experience. WELDING TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

Full-time position responsible for teaching AAS degree and certificate students in Welding Technology. Teaching to AWS SENSE curriculum standards at the basic and intermediate levels conforming to AWS QC-10:  2008 and AWS QC-11:  1996 standards for certification courses. Qualifications include Baccalaureate degree or equivalent in Industrial Technology/Engineering areas required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum five year’s work experience in welding field required. Candidate shall have AWS certification (CWI/CWE) or AWS certification must be attained within one year of hire for continuation of employment. Annual salary $57,660, full benefit package. PT GRAPHIC DESIGN/WEB & MEDIA DESIGN INSTRUCTORS

Part-time adjunct faculty opportunities exist in the area of Graphic/Web/Media Design to instruct courses at Monroe County Community College starting Fall Semester 2015. Possible course teaching assignments may include:  Design Concepts, ADOBE Creative Cloud applications including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Web Graphics and Design, Web Animation.

Minimum qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field.
Working knowledge of current practice and theory in graphic design, design for mobile device preferred.
Two years related experience in the design field with specific experience and background using Muse, Adobe Edge, and other standard industry software.
Teaching experience, preferably in a collegiate setting.
Superior communication, planning and organizational skills; ability to effectively deliver outstanding educational opportunities; and work in a strong team setting.
