WELDING TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

Full-time position responsible for teaching AAS degree and certificate students in Welding Technology. Teaching to AWS SENSE curriculum standards at the basic and intermediate levels conforming to AWS QC-10:  2008 and AWS QC-11:  1996 standards for certification courses. Qualifications include Baccalaureate degree or equivalent in Industrial Technology/Engineering areas required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum five year’s work experience in welding field required. Candidate shall have AWS certification (CWI/CWE) or AWS certification must be attained within one year of hire for continuation of employment. Annual salary $57,660, full benefit package. PT INSTRUCTOR

Monroe County Community College’s Upward Bound Program has a PT summer program instructor position available. Provides supplemental instruction to rising 9th graders to seniors in Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Anatomy). Qualifications include Bachelor’s Degree, valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with proper endorsements. Position begins June 22 to July 30; Monday-Thursday from 8:45am-2:00pm (Some Fridays); $25.00 per hour. PT GRAPHIC DESIGN/WEB & MEDIA DESIGN INSTRUCTORS

Part-time adjunct faculty opportunities exist in the area of Graphic/Web/Media Design to instruct courses at Monroe County Community College starting Fall Semester 2015. Possible course teaching assignments may include:  Design Concepts, ADOBE Creative Cloud applications including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Web Graphics and Design, Web Animation.

Minimum qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field.
Working knowledge of current practice and theory in graphic design, design for mobile device preferred.
Two years related experience in the design field with specific experience and background using Muse, Adobe Edge, and other standard industry software.
Teaching experience, preferably in a collegiate setting.
Superior communication, planning and organizational skills; ability to effectively deliver outstanding educational opportunities; and work in a strong team setting.

Construction Management 4) Electronics (Motor Control, AC/DC Machines) 5). CAD (Unigraphics, Catia) and 6). Metrology (CMM programming and use of metrology equipment). ANALYST/ADMINISTRATOR

Full-time position, responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance and support of server based applications, network operating systems and integrated software. Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems or related field; three or more years of experience in computer information systems; knowledge and experience with online Learning Management System with various network operating systems, preferably Windows server; knowledge and experience with virtualization software, preferably VMware; and ability to interact and assist with users of varying skill levels.
