PRACTICAL NURSING INSTRUCTOR
Full-time classroom, clinical, and lab instruction in a variety of nursing theory classes and clinical settings, which may include nursing fundamentals, medical/surgical nursing, maternal-child, and nursing management depending on background and experience. Master’s degree in Nursing required. Minimum two years employment experience as a Registered Nurse required; work experience as a practical nurse educator preferred. Experience teaching in variety of theory and clinical areas preferred, including medical/surgical and maternal-child/pediatric nursing. Valid and current license to practice Nursing in the state of Michigan, Ohio Nursing license desireable. Base salary $54,875. Monroe County Community College’s Upward Bound Program has a PT summer program instructor position available. Responsibilities include providing academic instruction in English. Qualifications include Bachelor’s Degree, valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with proper endorsements. Position begins June 17 through July 26; Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-2:00pm (Some Fridays); $25.00 per hour. PT INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTORS
Part-time Instructors needed for Fall semester in Industrial Technology Division in the areas of welding (all processes including Stick, TIG, MIG, Flux core), hydraulics, fluids, and electronics. Immediate need in the areas of non-destructive and materials testing (Visual, Ultra Sound, Mag particle, etc.), AutoCAD for architectural drawings (knowledge of Revit useful), construction management, Unigraphics/NX, Catia, renewable energies (introductory class, solar and wind). Qualifications include Associate degree required, Bachelors degree preferred. Work experience in the respective area listed above required.
