Home Computer Requirements

Equipment:

• IBM or compatible computer with at least a Pentiumä processor or higher
• At least 16MB of RAM.

Software:

• Dependable internet access and a personal email address.
• Internet browser—must be Netscape 4.0 or Microsoft Explorer 4.0 or higher.
• Microsoft Word 7.0 or higher software and experience using Microsoft Word.

Experience:

• Intermediate or advanced knowledge in navigating the internet.
• Experience with sending and receiving email.
• You must be proficient in sending email attachments using Microsoft Word.

Students must register for this class through the college’s registration process.

Students must also send Dr. Briganti the following information by the date noted in the schedule of classes:

1. Name
2. Student Number
3. Address
4. Telephone number where you can be most easily reached.
5. Valid email address

On the date noted in the schedule of classes, Dr. Briganti will email the course syllabus, schedule, assignments and instructions to all students registered in the course. 

This online course has weekly deadlines, but no specific weekly meeting time. Students are required to come to the main campus for examinations four times during the semester. For more information contact Dr. Briganti at the email address above. Special arrangements will be made for students not within commuting distance.
