Campus AccessibilityMonroe County Community College is committed to making our campus barrier free for students with disabilities. If you have any access problems or concerns please contact the Learning Assistance Lab at (734) 384-4167, located in the Campbell Learning Resources Center room C-218. PARKING - Handicapped parking spaces are available in all campus lots. A state or campus issued handicapped parking permit is required to park in these spaces. To inquire about a campus permit please contact the Learning Assistance Lab. TELEPHONES - Student with hearing impairments may contact the Learning Assistance Lab by using the Michigan Relay Center, 1-800-649-3777, or by calling the college's TDD at (734) 384-4210. ELEVATORS - Students whose disabilities restrict them from climbing stairs may use the elevators in the Campbell Learning Resource Center and Life Science buildings. The entrance to the Campbell Learning Resource Center elevator is located on the north side of the building at the loading dock area. The elevator in the Life Science building is located in the main corridor near the north entrance to the building. AUTOMATIC DOOR OPENERS - Automatic door openers have been installed at locations through out the campus. The openers operate on a timer system, in order to allow ample access to the buildings. RAMPS - There are 3 ramps to use for entering the Administration Building. These ramps are located at the East, North, and South entrances to the building. All other campus buildings are accessible from the ground floor level. BATHROOMS - All building on campus are equipped with at least one handicap accessible bathroom. These bathrooms are identified with a handicapped placard. Handicapped Bathroom Locations: REGISTRATION - Assistance is available for students with disabilities who need help registering for classes.
