SI is open to all students enrolled in a specific course, therefore students from all ability levels may and do attend SI. Some students attend periodically during the semester, while others attend regularly. Research at MCCC and at other institutions offering SI demonstrates that students who regularly attend SI will do better than those students who attend periodically or not at all.

SI is a free hour of study with your peers in a very informal atmosphere. It takes place at a regularly scheduled time and place, and is free of the usual study distractions. Give it a try!
