Tickets Available for Culinary Arts Program Buffets

MONROE, Mich. – Tickets are available for a number of Monroe County Community College’s upcoming gourmet buffets, which are prepared by the second-year culinary skills and management program students under the direction of Chef Kevin Thomas and Chef Vicki LaValle.

“I am so excited about the upcoming Winter Buffet Season that will be put on by our culinary skills and management program students,” LaValle said.  “We have such a talented and creative group of students, and I can’t wait to see the amazing foods they will create for our guests.”

On Friday, March 16, diners will be treated to an “International Street Food” buffet.  The second buffet, scheduled for Friday, March 23, is entitled “Global Cuisine.”  The third, an “Asian Edibles” buffet, will take place on Friday, April 6, and will be an evening buffet in conjunction with the 2018 One Book, One Community of Monroe County program.  The fourth buffet, “Holiday Favorites,” will take place on Friday, April 13. The final buffet on Friday, April 20 is a “Comfort Foods” buffet.

Each buffet begins at 11:30 a.m. with the exception of the evening buffet on April 6, which starts at 5 p.m.  All will be held in the Dining Room of the Warrick Student Services/Administration Building on MCCC’s Main campus, which is located at 1555 S. Raisinville Rd. in Monroe.
