COORDINATE MEASUREMENT MACHINE SOFTWARE

MONROE, Mich. – The Michigan users group for the world’s leading coordinate measurement machine software will take place at Monroe County Community College this Friday.

The users group will run from 10 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. in the La-Z-Boy Center, which is located on MCCC’s main campus at 1555 S. Raisinville Rd.

MCCC offers an associate degree program in metrology technology that is designed to meet the precision management technology needs of industry.

Wilcox Associates, a division of Hexagon Metrology is the developer of Enterprise Metrology Solutions, which includes PC-DMIS.  According to Reginald Caskey of Hexagon Metrology, the company can configure all of its measurement systems with its PC-DMIS software, and having a common software strategy running different measurement systems is an excellent cost savings strategy in the manufacturing market place.
