MCCC ANNOUNCES WINNERS AT 2007 AUTO SHOW
MONROE, Mich. - On Sunday, September 23, the twenty-first Antiques and Auto show took place on the campus of Monroe County Community College. Cars of all makes and models entered this event to compete for a spot in one of six different award categories – the winners in each category are provided below:
- President’s Choice: Ford Cauffil of Holland Ohio for his 1928 Stutz Dual Cowl. Second Place: Gary Brewer of Harrison Township for his 1966 Thunderbird. Third Place: Steve Kasprzak of Oregon, Ohio for his 1960 Ford Starliner.
- Trustee’s Choice: John Dustin of Tecumseh for his 1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible. Second Place: Paul Harden of Toledo Ohio for his 1963 Corvette Stingray. Third Place: Stan and Karen Reynolds of Grass Lake for their 1955 Thunderbird.
- The Foundation’s Choice: Larry Gardon of Quincy for his 1931 State Sedan. Second place: Ralph Keefe of Sylvania, Ohio for his 1920 Nash Truck. Third Place: Rich Taylor of Canton for his 1972 Chevy Camaro SS.
- Alumni Choice: Ed Likes of Bryan, Ohio for his 1970 Chevy Chevelle. Second Place: Paul and Ann Coleman of Canton for their 1957 Ford Fairlane. Third Place: Tom Carper of Temperance for his 1976 Ford Bronco.
- Faculty Choice: Erik Martensens of Temperance for his 1956 Chevy Del Ray. Second Place: Rollie Beale of Toledo, Ohio for his 1967 Ford Mustang. Third Place: Phil Nolff of Carleton for his 1963 Chevy Corvette.
- Students’ Choice: Keith Fountain of Northwood, Ohio for his 1966 Pontiac GTO. Second Place: Jack Swliois of Toledo, Ohio for his 1964 Chevy Impala. Third Place: Larry Webb of Toledo, Ohio for his 1970 Chevy Corvette.
