MCCC AWARDS THE WILLIAM J. AND
JENNIE E. BACARELLA SCHOLARSHIP

MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the William J. and Jennie E. Bacarella Scholarship to Gerald D. Borawski.  The $1,000 award can be used for tuition, fees and books.

Borawski, a resident of Monroe, is majoring in business and psychology.  He is a 2007 graduate of St. Mary Catholic Central High School, where he played varsity hockey.

The scholarship was established by lifelong Monroe residents William and Jennie Bacarella to support MCCC students and the community.  Eligible students must major in a business-related curriculum and be enrolled in at least six credit hours of classes.
