Ratatouille to be Shown at MCCC on March 28

MONROE, Mich. –  Monroe County Community College Student Government will be sponsoring Family Movie Night on Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. in the MCCC La-Z-Boy Center, Meyer Theater, which is located on the Main Campus at 1555 South Raisinville Rd. in Monroe.

Family Movie Night replaces the former Family Fun Night and is the 23rd annual family community event put on by the college.

The event will feature Roscoe the Clown and his artful magic beginning at 6 p.m., followed by the blockbuster Disney film Ratatouille from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

“We wanted to create another community event for families with children and to showcase the beautiful Meyer Theater at the College,” said NeCole Day, MCCC student activities coordinator.  “We have a fantastic clown show, and Ratatouille is sure to get great laughs from both parents and children alike.”

Family Movie Night is designed for children ages kindergarten through fifth grade, but all ages are welcome.

Admission is $1 per person and the doors to the theater will open at 5:45 p.m.
