DUBOIS, HILLIKER JOIN FACULTY AT MCCC
MONROE, Mich. – Martin Dubois of Monroe and William Hilliker of Taylor have joined the faculty at Monroe County Community College.
Dubois is an assistant professor of mechanical engineering technology. Hilliker is an assistant professor of computer information systems.
Both began teaching full time at MCCC this Fall Semester.
Dubois, a licensed professional engineer, has more than 25 years of experience in engineering positions involving system development, machine control and design, manufacturing and testing. Since 1998, he has been self-employed as an engineering consultant specializing in industrial electrical system design, debugging and system-startup for various automotive and industrial customers.
He most recently was an adjunct instructor in MCCC’s Industrial Technology Division. He has also taught courses in electronics and circuit theory at Oakland University.
He holds bachelor of science degrees in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering from Michigan State University and a master of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Louisville. Dubois has also completed significant course work in the systems engineering doctoral program at Oakland University.
Hilliker, of Taylor, served as senior project coordinator/lead systems analyst in research and systems integration at Henry Ford Health System from1999-2007. His responsibilities included research, server administration, planning, documentation, technical support, database/data management and programming.
He has taught an array of computer and business courses at Baker College, Wayne State University, University of Detroit-Mercy and Central Michigan University.
Hilliker holds a master of business administration degree in marketing research and management from WSU, a master of science degree in computer and information systems from UDM and a graduate certificate from CMU in business computing-management information systems. He earned a bachelor’s degree in commercial recreation and facility management from CMU.
