MCCC AWARDS THE ELIZABETH
STEFFES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the Elizabeth Steffes Memorial Scholarship to Tiffane Callich, of Riga. The scholarship, in the amount of $600, is to be used for purchasing books.

Callich is a 2007 graduate of Big Spring High School and is majoring in Elementary Education. A class officer, she was involved in Student Council, Concert Band, Marching Band, Indoor Percussion, Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.), Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Lead America, and was a People to People Student Ambassador. She received the Citizenship and Junior Science Awards. Her parents are Betty Jo and Charles Callich III.
