Need to Know

There are several things you will want to do to have a good start at MCCC.
1. If you have a disability, contact the Learning Assistance Lab at (734) 384-4167.
2. Sign up for your WebPal account. This is an online system that allows students to access their records, register for classes, pay fees, and complete a number of other processes through a secure web server.
 
  • Go to MCCC’s website at www.monroeccc.edu.
  • Go to the box at the top right-hand side of the page that says "MyMCCC" Click on the WebPal Login Link.
  • Select “First time users click here” to learn how to sign on to WebPal.
  • If you encounter difficulty setting up your account, please contact the Help Desk at (734) 384-4333.
3. Access your College email account. This is the method used by the College to communicate important information such as tuition payment deadlines, waitlisting notifications, upcoming events, and so on.
 
  • Go to MCCC’s website at www.monroeccc.edu.
  • Go to the box at the top right-hand side of the page that says “MyMCCC”.
  • Click on Email Instructions and follow the directions.
  • If you encounter difficulty accessing your account, please contact (734) 384-4234.
4. Sign up for the MCCC AlertNow notification system (for College closings or delays due to inclement weather or emergencies).
 
  • Go to MCCC’s web site at www.monroeccc.edu.
  • Go to the box at the middle right-hand side of the page that says “Quick Links"
  • Go to AlertNow Notification System link.
  • Click on that link and follow the directions to sign-up.
5. Get your library card. You’ll need to go to the library (entire 1st floor of the C Building), bring a signed photo ID, and it won’t cost you a cent. Your library card will allow you to check out materials from the library and to use many databases, even from the comfort of your own home
