Advanced Placement Program

MCCC credit will be granted to students who have successfully participated in the College Entrance Examination Boards's Advanced Placement Program in their high schools. A score of three (3) or better on the listed subject exams is required to earn academic credit. Students planning to attend Monroe County Community College must arrange to have their advance placement examination records sent directly form the College Entrance Examination Board to the Office of the Registrar.

A maximum of 30 semester hours will be awarded, in total, for credit by examination, including credits awarded via the Advanced Placement Program. Advanced placement will not be recorded in cases where a student has earned credit in the same or a higher level college course.
