Three Well-kept Secrets:Finding Spelling and Punctuation Errors

1. Read the paper backwards, word for word (spelling errors).

2. Read each sentence aloud with inflection. Note your natural pauses and
check for needed punctuation (punctuation errors).

3. Keep a spelling journal (note your frequent spelling errors). Use the "Find"
or "Search" on Microsoft Word and type in the words you frequently misspell.
The more you check those words, the less likely you are to misspell them on future
    papers (spelling errors).
