PREP FOR HIGH-DEMAND CAREERS

Teacher and student, detective, nurse and mechanic

Monroe County Community College prepares students for high-demand careers. MCCC has a bevy of programs that lead to the jobs classified among the “hottest” in Michigan. These include occupational certificate and degree programs that prepare students for immediate employment upon completion, as well as transfer pathways and “3+1” programs – three years at MCCC and one at a four-year college or university.

Many of these programs prepare students for jobs in Michigan that show a favorable mix of long-term growth, projected annual openings and median wages, according to the state’s Bureau of Labor Market Information and Strategic Initiatives “Hot 50 through 2026."
