MCCC’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center to Host Free Discussion on How to Start a Business

MONROE, Mich. –  On May 25, Monroe County Community College’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center will host a free roundtable discussion on how to start a business.

The roundtable discussion, “Start Up to Successful Operation,” is open to the public and will be held at 6:30 p.m. in Room 173cd of the Warrick Student Services Administration Building on MCCC’s Main Campus at 1555 S. Raisinville Rd. in Monroe.

Anyone interested in learning more about what it really takes to start a business should attend.

Participants will learn from area business leaders about the “5 Keys for Creating Motion in Starting Your Business.”

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center is a partnership between MCCC, the Monroe County Business Development Corporation, the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation of Monroe County and the Bedford Business Association, established for the purposes of supporting an environment that attracts, supports and encourages business start-ups and the growth of small- and medium-sized businesses in Monroe County.  The center offers technical assistance and guidance to entrepreneurs and existing businesses through workshops, training, one-on-one counseling, open discussions, and access to space and technology.
