‘Show me the Money Day’ to be Held at MCCC

MONROE, Mich. –  The Michigan State University Extension and the Habitat for Humanity Hope program, in conjunction with Monroe County Community College, will host “Show Me the Money Day” on Feb. 15 from 4-7 p.m. in the Dining Hall of the Audrey M. Warrick Student Services/Administration Building.

MCCC is located at 1555 S. Raisiville Rd. in Monroe.

Show Me the Money Day is a financial resource fair that will provide resources to community members such as free tax preparation appointments, financial workshops and access to vendors.  The vendors will include banks, credit unions and community organizations.

The event is free and open to the public.  There will also be free food and prizes.

Thousands of Michigan residents attended Show Me the Money Day’s 32 free events across the state last year.
