THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE MIDWAY PRODUCTS - LYMAN E. HOYT MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded The Midway Products – Lyman E. Hoyt Memorial Scholarship to Justin Trout. The $1,300 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.

Trout of Carleton is a 2018 graduate of Airport High School.  He is currently studying construction management while attending MCCC.  Justin is the son of James and Hiroko Trout.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in one of the following programs at MCCC: Automotive Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design Technology, Welding Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Technology. In addition, the student must maintain full-time enrollment status of 12 credit hours or more, must have and maintain a 2.5 grade point average or higher during their scholarship year and must demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to a Monroe County resident or a child of a Midway Products, Inc. employee.
