Full-time Instructor primarily responsible for teaching courses in the Auto Engineering Technology program. Additional duties include promoting, directing, developing, and implementing daily operation of Auto Engineering program including development of new curriculum, assisting in selection of appropriate adjunct (part-time) faculty for the program, and equipment planning and procurement for program area in the lab. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering Technology or in the Engineering field or Associate’s degree in Automotive Engineering Technology or Automotive Service Technology OR Engineering Technology and 4,000 hours of hands-on automotive work-related experience. Exception to the above may be considered with appropriate qualifications and work experience in the profession. Teaching experience preferred. Construction Management Instructor
Full-time position Instructor responsible for the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Construction Management program in Division. Duties include teaching and advising AAS degree and certificate students in Construction Management. Bachelor’s degree required in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or appropriate related technical field. Bachelor’s degree holders: Minimum of 5 years full-time US commercial or industrial and/or residential construction industry experience with increasing levels of responsibility, culminating in a project management position. Bachelor’s degree with PE and Architect Registration highly desirable. Master’s degree holders: Minimum of 3 years full-time US commercial or industrial and/or residential construction industry experience with increasing levels of responsibility. Part-time adjunct Instructors needed in the following areas:
- Automotive – with relevant NATEF/ASE certifications.
- Construction Management – background in LEED, Construction Safety, Renewable solar and wind, Scheduling, estimating. Knowledge of BIM software, AutoCAD, scheduling software such as Primavera, MS Project useful.
- Welding – proficient in all welding process and NDT inspection techniques.
Qualifications include Associate of Science degree and/or Journey person card; Bachelors of Science degree preferred. Work experience in the respective area required.
