THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE ROOF FAMILY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

Noah SmithThe Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Roof Family Scholarship to Noah Smith. The $7,500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Smith of Erie is a 2020 Mason Senior High School graduate. He is studying automotive engineering technology while attending MCCC. He enjoys rebuilding his 1979 Honda 185T and repairing his 2003 Ford F-150. He is the son of Barbara and Ted Smith.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must enroll in an occupational program of study with the intent to complete a program of study at MCCC and immediately enter the workforce, must be a full-time student defined as twelve (12) billable contact hours or more, must be a resident of and graduated from high school in Monroe County, Michigan, and must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher. Preference is given to students graduating from Dundee Community Schools.
