Board of Trustees Candidate Statements
Monroe County Community College is posting statements as provided by candidates for the college’s Board of Trustees. All nine candidates were invited to submit a statement, and each was given the same instructions. Because all candidates provided statements well before the final deadline, the college posted the statements on Oct. 15, 2026, four days earlier than anticipated. The college is not advocating on behalf of any candidate but for informational purposes to the public is providing the information as submitted by the candidates.

The Monroe County Community College Board of Trustees meets regularly on the fourth Monday of each month from September through June. Special meetings may be scheduled as needed. Regular meetings typically begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Board Room in the La-Z-Boy Center, but that location may be changed as needed. Please refer to the "Agendas" section at the bottom of the page for the specific meeting notice for the most up-to-date information about times and locations of upcoming meetings. If the Agendas section is not visible, there are no meeting notices or agendas currently available.
