The MCCC Makerspace for exploration and creation
We are a community gathering place to share skills & equipment while imagining, exploring, creating & designing with people of shared interests. At the Monroe County Community College Makerspace you'll have access to the information, tools, software and space you need to invent and make.
In the Makerspace your ideas can come to fruition. Create a prototype, make a part, design a toy, engrave a sign, repair electronic devices, learn a new skill, enjoy a hobby, explore new ideas.
The MCCC Makerspace currently offers the following equipment for use:
- Modela MDX-50
- CNCEpilog Helix Laser
- CNC Stratys F170 3D Printer
- Electronics workstations
- Formlabs 3d printer station
- Titan vinyl cutter
- Various hand tools
Anyone over the age of 18 can use the resources of the MCCC Makerspace. Currently, equipment and tools are available on a first come, first served basis.
You do not need to be a student or alum of MCCC. The MCCC Makerspace is open to the community to foster creativity and idea sharing.
