We are a community gathering place to share skills & equipment while imagining, exploring, creating & designing with people of shared interests.  At the Monroe County Community College Makerspace you'll have access to the information, tools, software and space you need to invent and make.

The workshop will feature guest speaker Randy Kuckuck, CEO of ZoomBroom Inc. and co-inventor of the ZoomBroom. During the workshop, he will share his thoughts on successful entrepreneurship and developing new product business models. Attendees will also receive an update on MCCC’s Makerspace, including how facilities like the Makerspace can help individuals grow ideas from concept to prototype.

In the Makerspace your ideas can come to fruition. Create a prototype, make a part, design a toy, engrave a sign, repair electronic devices, learn a new skill, enjoy a hobby, explore new ideas.

The MCCC Makerspace currently offers the following equipment for use:

  • Computer Lab w/3D CAD and Design Software
  • Axiom AR8 Elite CNC Router
  • Roland MDX-50 CNC RP Machine
  • Epilog Helix 50w CNC Laser
  • Stratasys F170 FDM 3D Printer
  • Formlabs Form 2 SLA 3D Printer
  • Ender 3 V2 FDM 3D Printers
  • Electronics Repair Workstations
  • Table TITAN 15” Vinyl Cutter
  • Various Hand Tools, Power Tools, & More!


Anyone over the age of 18 can use the resources of the MCCC Makerspace. Currently, equipment and tools are available on a first come, first served basis. 

You do not need to be a student or alum of MCCC. The MCCC Makerspace is open to the community to foster creativity and idea sharing.

Workshops for children are currently in development. All workshops will identify appropriate ages.




Currently, there is no charge to use the MCCC Makerspace (through March 31, 2020).

A fee schedule is under development.
