The Gerald Welch Center for Health & Public Safety Campaign
Monroe County Community College is expanding the Gerald Welch Center for Health & Public Safety to advance the next generation of excellence in nursing, respiratory therapy and critical first responders including EMT/Paramedics, police officers and public servants.
This campaign is about much more than a building. It is about creating a place where learners evolve into the extraordinary superheroes critically needed every day.
THE EVOLUTION STARTS WITH YOU! BE THE HERO!
- A transformational investment in our community’s health and safety workforce.
- 30,000 square feet of new learning environments and technology upgrades.
- Cutting edge hybrid classrooms to expand partnerships with large universities and hospitals.
- Enriched training for critically needed nurses, respiratory therapists, EMTs, paramedics and police officers.
- New health simulation labs to expand hands-on training with advanced life-like pediatric and adult manikins.
EVERY HERO NEEDS A ROLE – HOW WILL YOU PARTICIPATE FOR YOUR COMMUNITY’S FUTURE?
