About the Author

Angeline BoulleyAngeline Boulley is a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and the daughter of a traditional firekeeper. She is the author of both Firekeeper’s Daughter, and its sequel Warrior Girl Unearthed.  Boulley wrote Firekeeper’s Daughter, her debut novel, over the course of ten years. In addition to being a writer, Boulley has also served as her tribe’s Educational Director and worked for the U.S. Department of Education as the Director for the Office of Indian Education.
