Orientation
All new college students are required to attend in-person New Student Orientation & Registration. Students will learn more about MCCC academics, services, and the opportunities outside the classroom such as student organizations & study abroad.
These sessions will be offered on Thursdays, at various times. At the end of the session, students will walk out with their schedule.
Students Required to Attend
- Recent high school graduates
- Dual Enrollment/Middle College students at MCCC or other institutions who completed less than 12 college credit hours.
- Adult learners who have never attended college or have less than 12 college credit hours at any institution.
Students Not Required to Attend New Student Orientation
- Returning Students who have already attended in person New Student Orientation (excluding Dual Enrollment Orientation while in high school).
- Dual Enrollment/Middle College students at MCCC or other institutions who completed 12 or more college credit hours.
- Returning students who have earned 12 or more credits at MCCC or other institutions.
- Transfer students who have earned 12 or more credits.
