Monroe County Community College will host informational meetings on Tuesday, Feb. 18 and Thursday, Feb. 20 on its 2021 Health Career Focused Study Abroad Program trip to London and Paris, which is open to MCCC students and community members who are interested in learning about health care in those countries.
The trip was originally scheduled for May 2020 but will now take place in May 2021.
The meetings will be held at 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. in the Gerald Welch Health Education Building, Room 165.
During the trip, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in health systems abroad, as well as learn their history and make cross-cultural connections with the U.S. system.
This program will be an incredibly valuable experience that will help current students or community members interested in (or already working in) health care fields gain valuable knowledge for their academic and professional careers, said Denise Robinson, associate professor of nursing and coordinator of the trip.
For more information, contact Robinson at firstname.lastname@example.org or (734) 384-4265.
