Monroe County Community College offers credit courses across a wide range of disciplines through numerous academic divisions. These divisions provide clusters of programs with similar interests, requirements, content or orientation – some carrying their own professional or academic accreditation – and offer associate degrees or certificates.
Applied Science & Engineering Technology Division
This division houses technical programs of study and educational opportunities to students seeking entry-level and/or advanced skills and certification.
BUSINESS DIVISION
The Business Division houses programs designed to prepare students to meet the ever changing needs of business and industry.
HEALTH SCIENCES DIVISION
The Health Sciences Division prepares students to have a positive impact on society in relation to health and wellness and to succeed in becoming productive members of the healthcare industry.
HUMANITIES / SOCIAL SCIENCES DIVISION
The Humanities/Social Sciences Division provides a critical understanding of political, cultural and societal knowledge via transfer and general education courses, as well as houses programs of study in criminal justice and the fine arts.
SCIENCE / MATHEMATICS DIVISION
The Science/Mathematics Division at Monroe County Community College provides courses and necessary sequences for transfer, associate degrees, certificates and occupational programs, as well as the fulfillment of the college’s general education requirements in scientific and numeric literacy and in scientific inquiry.
