Bavarian Blizzard is a comic opera made for young children. It tells the story of a terrible Blizzard and several characters trying to keep warm. They quickly learn the joy of service and charity to others. Bavarian Blizzard was written by Monroe native, Andrew Henderson who was an elementary music teacher at Custer School for many years. HappyPlace Productions is excited to produce this world premiere!
This musical is intended for ages 13-19 and produced locally by HappyPlace Productions, a non-profit organization with a mission to provide positive and meaningful theatre experiences for youth and adult performers in and around the Monroe County area.
