La-Z-Boy Center, Meyer Theater
This special performance will feature four candidates for the position of Director of the MCCC College-Community Symphonic Band, each conducting one musical selection. The remaining pieces will be conducted by members of the Symphonic Band.
We are also delighted to welcome special guest violinist Ann Felder, who will perform John Williams’ Theme from Schindler’s List. The concert will conclude with the world premiere of Village Carriage Ride, composed and conducted by Wyatt Harrington, a clarinetist in the Symphonic Band.
