Graham Denton is an enrolled citizen of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes. His mother is Edna Island and his grandmother is Jane Wolffeathers. He is the great grandson of Chief Harold Lonelodge and Grasshopper Island, medicine man of the tribe, and belongs to the beaver clan.

Graham is a local Doctor of Chiropractic who uses a technique invented in Monroe, MI. He is the 7th member of 3 generations of his family with a doctorate degree, who are enrolled citizens of either Cherokee Nation or Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes. He is an alumnus of Monroe County Community College and Monroe High School. 

He is also a member of the Anishinaabek Caucus and is passionate for activism concerning Indigenous rights and sovereignty. His goal through education is to eradicate oppression for all groups who find themselves marginalized.
