MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the Altrusa International of Monroe Scholarship to Jeremy Book. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
Book, of Ottawa Lake, is a 1989 graduate of Whiteford High School and is studying Graphic Arts at MCCC. He coached middle school volleyball at Whiteford Agricultural schools. He and his wife, Suzette have two children Jordan and Jenna.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must present financial need, good academic service, past or present community service and reside in Monroe County. Additionally, the applicant must be seeking education in order to return to the workforce.
