MCCC Awards the John & Violet Mueller Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the John and Violet Mueller Scholarship to Heather Beaver and Hunter Johnson. The scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Beaver, of Newport, is a 2016 graduate of Jefferson High School and is pursuing a Liberal Arts degree at MCCC.

Johnson, of Newport, is a 2015 graduate of Jefferson High School and is pursuing a Liberal Arts degree at MCCC. She is the daughter of Michelle Beaver and Mark Beaver.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate of Jefferson High School and a resident of Monroe County. In addition, student must maintain at least part-time enrollment of six credit hours or more, and must have and maintain a grade point average of 2.5 pr higher during their scholarship year.
