MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the J.D. Hunter Annual Character Scholarship to Phyllis Alexius. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Alexius, of Monroe, is enrolled in the Business Management Program at MCCC. She is a member of Monroe CrossWalk Cummunity Church. She is married to Eric Alexius and is the mother to Danielle Leonard and Raphye Alexius.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be at least a part-time student at MCCC and submit two testimonials from a third party attesting high character demonstrated.
