MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Ruthie Merritt Memorial Scholarship to Melanie Guy. The $950 scholarship is to be used for tuition.
Guy, of Erie, is a 2012 graduate of Mason High School and is currently pursuing an accounting degree at MCCC.
The Ruthie Merritt Memorial Scholarship was established by the family and friends of Ruthie Merritt, a former employee of MCCC.
