The Foundation at MCCC Awards the Student Nurses Association Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Student Nurses Association Scholarship to Kayla Wiggins. The $250 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.

Wiggins, of Temperance, is a 2010 graduate of Assumption High School and is pursuing a career in Nursing at MCCC. She is a member of MCCC’s Student Nurses Association and a student representative. She is the daughter of Kim and Jim Wiggins and James Weiter and wife to Will Obert.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student be enrolled in the Registered Nursing Program or Licensed Practical Nursing Certificate Program at Monroe County Community College, be a member of the MCCC Student Nurses Association (SNA) and have a 3.4 GPA or higher.
