The Foundation at MCCC Awards the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 137 Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation Monroe County Community College has awarded the D.A.V. Chapter 137 Scholarship to Ryan James. The D.A.V. Chapter 137 Scholarship was established at The Foundation at MCCC to provide scholarship support for a MCCC student who is a disabled veteran, an honorably discharged veteran or a dependent of a veteran. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books, and supplies. 

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a resident of Monroe County, MI and a United States citizen, must be a veteran or the child of a veteran, the veteran must have received an honorable discharge and submit a copy of their DD-214, have a 2.5 GPA or higher. Financial need may be considered in awarding the scholarship.
