MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Alec Harwood Memorial Scholarship to John Robbins. The $1,500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Robbins of Monroe is a 1993 Taylor Truman High School graduate. Robbins is studying metrology technology while attending MCCC.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing a degree or certificate in welding technology, be a part-time student, defined as six (6) contact hours per semester, must have a 3.0 GPA, and preference may be given to a Monroe High School, Monroe, Michigan student.
