MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Bryan W. Smith Memorial Scholarship to Christine Kronk. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Kronk of Ottawa Lake is a 2001 graduate of Bedford High School and has been accepted into the Registered Nursing Program at MCCC. She is the daughter of Cheryl Mocek and Steven Kronk and the mother to Austin and Jaxon Kronk.
The scholarship will be awarded to a student who is enrolled in a certificate or degree program in the Applied Science and Engineering Technology Division at MCCC, maintain at least part-time enrollment during the year, preference given to a Bedford High School graduate, Temperance, MI, and a resident of Monroe County, Michigan.
