The Foundation at MCCC Awards FEDCO Science and Technology Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. –The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the FEDCO Science and Technology Scholarship to Shane Miller and Charles Myers. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.

Miller of Temperance is a 2017 graduate of Bedford High School. Miller is studying mechanical engineering technology while attending MCCC.

Myers of Monroe is a 1987 graduate of Charlevoix High School. Myers will be studying mechanical design technology while attending MCCC. Charles is the son of Jon and Rebecca Myers, husband of Raina Myers, and father of Zachary, Cody, and Blake Myers.

To be eligible for this scholarship, the recipient must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Industrial Management Technology, Mechanical Design Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Product and Process Technology class at MCCC, must have a 2.5 GPA or higher and be a Monroe County, Michigan resident. Preference will be given to a Jefferson High School graduate and have financial need.
