The Foundation at MCCC Awards the John & Violet Mueller Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the John and Violet Mueller Scholarship to Savana LaFevre and Felicity Renn. The $1,525 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

LaFevre of Luna Pier is a 2018 graduate of Mason High School. LaFevre will be exploring multiple career options in the medical field while studying at MCCC. After two years of attending MCCC, LaFevre hopes to transfer to a four year university. LaFevre is the president of the junior board of Little Blessings where she helps to fundraise for veterans. Savana is the daughter of Rikki and Shawn LeFevre.

Renn of Carleton is a 2018 Jefferson High School graduate. Renn will be exploring multiple career options while attending MCCC with preference to nursing and special education. At Jefferson High School, Renn was a member of Student Council and graduated cum laude. Felicity is the daughter of Maria and AJ Renn.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate of Jefferson High School and a resident of Monroe County. In addition, student must maintain at least part-time enrollment of six credit hours or more, and must have and maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher during their scholarship year.
