MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the Circolo Italiano Scholarship to James DelVero. The scholarship is to be used for books.
DelVero of Carleton is a 2002 graduate of Jefferson High School. DelVero is studying nursing while attending MCCC. James is the husband of Jennifer DelVero and father of Dalton and Scarlett DelVero.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must present financial need, reside in Monroe County and have a working knowledge of the Italian language or culture. Preference will be given to a student planning to pursue studies, training, or research relating to the Italian culture.
