Monroe County Community College will host informational meetings on Tuesday, Oct. 29 and Wednesday, Oct. 30 on its May 2020 Study Abroad Program trip to London and Paris, which is open to MCCC students and community members who are interested in a career in health care.
The Oct. 29 meeting will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the Gerald Welch Health Education Building, Room 157.
The Oct. 30 meeting will be held from 6-7 p.m. in the Gerald Welch Health Education Building, Room 105.
During the trip, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the United Kingdom’s health system, as well as learn its history and make cross-cultural connections with the U.S. system.
This program will be an incredibly valuable experience that will help current students and community members interested in health care fields prepare for their academic and professional careers, said Denise Robinson, associate professor of nursing and coordinator of the trip.
