The Foundation At MCCC Awards The Irma A. (Mclaughlin) Mcintyre Memorial Endowed Agriculture Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Irma A. (McLaughlin) McIntyre Memorial Endowed Agriculture Scholarship to Nicholas Beaudrie. The $800 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.

Beaudrie of Monroe is a 1997 graduate of Jefferson High School. He is currently pursuing an associate degree in Agriculture Operations Management at MCCC in conjunction with Michigan State University. He has worked an internship as a Caretaker at the MCCC Community Farm and Urban Gardens harvesting over 5000 pounds of produce, which was donated to the community members. He is the treasurer of the MCCC Agriculture Club. Nicholas is the husband to Michelle and father to Antonio and Giovanni.

To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must be enrolled in the agriculture program at MCCC, be at least a part-time student, be a resident of Monroe County, Michigan and demonstrate financial need.
